Lovely, melancholic meditations in black and white

You were right to make these black and white for Tall Girl's reasons. They would have been nothing in colour.

An apt display of how some meditations work, a gathering calmness that leads to heighten awareness and sensitivity through focused observation ... or ... a heighten awareness and sensitivity through focused observation that leads to a gathering calmness. (smile) Some enter throught the front door, others through the back window.

Beautiful. Sometimes only black-&-white can get it right.

Thanks all.
There was very little natural colour in the pictures anyway, they were virtually monochrome. What there was made them look just a bit flat and grubby.
I sometimes hanker for new sights and places to go and photograph, yet this small and unremarkable municipal fishing lake where we walk regularly seems to offer something surprising and different again and again.
Dick, welcome, thanks for stopping by, I always mean to spend more time at yours.
And a smile from the gentle and enigmatic brother, my cup runneth over!
TG, A and H, you are very dear.

What beautiful writing implements! One feels one could write something really worthwhile with those.

Thank you!
The black and white also I thought kept with the calligraphy theme - but the plume would tickle your chin!

Funny, I was just looking at the calligraphy on Mount Shang... And now these.
